What is the Capstone?

The capstone is your chance to take everything you have learned and apply it to a real idea. You will develop a P2P project concept — something that uses blockchain or stablecoin technology to solve a real problem in East Africa — and present it to a panel of judges on Pitching Day. You do not need to build anything. You need a clear idea, a compelling case, and the confidence to present it.

How to Structure Your Pitch

  1. Problem — What pain or inefficiency are you solving? Who experiences it and how badly?
  2. Solution — How does blockchain, P2P, or stablecoin technology help solve it?
  3. African Market Relevance — Why does this matter specifically in East Africa? Is there demand?
  4. Feasibility — How would this actually work? What would it take to build?
  5. Impact — Who benefits and how many people could this reach?
